Washingtonian: DC’s Best Financial Advisers — 2022, 2024
The Washingtonian generally publishes its Best Financial Advisor list every other year. They survey hundreds of area financial professionals (fee-only financial planners, fee-based advisers, estate attorneys, tax accountants, and insurance advisers) for a period preceding the publishing their list. The surveys ask financial professionals whom they would trust with their own money. The “best adviser” names on this list, which generally number 200-250, are the people who received the strongest recommendations during the respective nominating period. There are no criteria other than the number of votes or recommendations, but Washingtonian also conducts its own research, consults industry experts and considers the top adviser lists in other publications. Not everyone who receives a nomination makes the list. Washingtonian does not rank the Advisors, they list them alphabetically based on their respective profession (financial planners, tax accountants etc).
The 2024 Award: The nomination period for the 2024 award was July 18th – August 25th. The 2024 award list was released on October 27th. The 2024 Award was published in January 2024. Kirk Capital Advisors, LLC did not pay to be included in this list.
The 2022 Award: The nomination period for the 2022 award was March 16th – April 16th. The 2022 award was published in March 2022. January. Kirk Capital Advisors, LLC did not pay to be included in this list.
Northern Virginia Magazine: Top Financial Professionals — 2021, 2022, 2023
To compile the Top Financial Professionals listing, surveys are sent to a list of Northern Virginia financial professionals, asking them to recommend other financial professionals whom they would refer to friends and family. The list is comprised of the financial professionals who received the most nominations.
The 2023 Award: The nomination period for the 2023 award was March 6th – April 7th. The 2023 award list was published in September 2023. Kirk Capital Advisors, LLC did not pay to be included in this list.
The 2022 Award: The nomination period for the 2022 award was March 6th – April 14th. The 2022 award list was published in September 2022. Kirk Capital Advisors, LLC did not pay to be included in this list.
The 2021 Award: The nomination period for the 2021 award was March 16th – April 16th. The 2021 award list was published in September 2021. Kirk Capital Advisors, LLC did not pay to be included in this list.
